True Anomaly Records is currently working with only a single artist, the Columbus based rock band Downplay. Ohio University newspaper The Post describes Downplay as sounding like "Three Days Grace deconstructed Maroon 5's love-struck lyrics to give an edgier sound." Since signing with True Anomaly, Downplay has been steadily growing. The band released their sophomore album, "A Day Without Gravity", in late October, 2007. The album has received a great deal of praise in the short time since its release. Through the work of True Anomaly, Downplay has also had its first radio play on major radio stations in Ohio.
